The 'Supermoon', was just 7% larger and 15% brighter than normal. I went out the evening of the supermoon and looked up, it was a bright full moon, but if I had not been told this is the brightest moon since 1948 I would not have thought it was anything special.

Joe,

The supermoon was supposedly 14% larger, and 30% brighter, but you say you only got 7% and 15% :(
Did you look at the left and right, or only one side?
Did you have both eyes open?
Have you tried turning Windows off, then on again?
Did you check both imperial and metric measurements? :dunno:
If you have in fact been badly served, I suggest a letter to your local government representative.

Well I read it on the interweb so it must be true, but then you read a different number, probably from the interweb so that must also be true. :dunno: Maybe the differences are because of daylight savings time or something.
