Re: Varsity repaints
Pete..
I've gone back to backups of my old XP2400 and can't find these paints. I was sure I had them but they're not active in any of my old FS9 installs.. just the paints that came with the Varsity. Outside them being installed.. I've looked for possible candidates in my old download folders using 'obvious' searches for file names but nothing is popping its head up. Sri mate

Re: Varsity repaints
I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up, and it's taken some digging and several malts, but I have found in a dark recess the following: -
WL641 RAF Manby
WL634 5 FTS
WJ949 RAF Central Flying School
WJ942 RAF Training Command
WF330 RAF Coastal Command
WF422 RAF 1 Group HQ
WJ948 RAF Signals Command
When I can get photo bucket to play I could post some pics.

Re: Varsity repaints
I see that you got it working, it can be a right little....... at times, can it not?
Now that you've teased us, are you going to upload them?

I'm afraid they are not my work, so don't know about uploading them.Airspeed wrote:I see that you got it working, it can be a right little....... at times, can it not?

If the owner appears and gives his blessing, then OK, unless the feeling is that I won't be treading on any toes by doing so.

Re: Varsity repaints
I have uploaded them, but will remove the link if requested by the file owner/owners.

Re: Varsity repaints
Hi Graham
Nigel Edwards did the paints and he's a member here. He did say earlier in this thread (and very many moons ago) that he'd upload them again but I guess the RW got in the way. I doubt he'd be offended by you offering them for use once more

How I wish Rick would update the Varsity for FSX/P3D. I have a very soft spot for that aircraft.
