Seems that my impression of the Meteor being "lively" are in line with Dave B's feelings.
Haven't had a chance to try iy further, but I'd better not expect miracles,

No.. you'd better not 8)

I posed a question to Baz at SoH asking if he thought it looked right (the lit intakes) and one of the beta testers actually came back and said yes  Eee gads :wall:

You have to remember Dave that the same 'beta tester' complained about the Mosquito exhaust apertures being too big if the shrouds were removed. He was reminded by Baz that he was on the testing team. His response was 'I wasn't the only one'. I find it hard to take the guy seriously on any issue!

Oh yes mate.. taken as read but I do wonder if other readers are less perceptive. The same tester was also in possession of the FSAddons Anson (as a tester) from the outset and failed to notice the elevator trim wheel moved the wrong way so his 'street cred' is more than a little tarnished  Its an unfortunate fact that many testers simply 'want in' early on a product and have little or no knowledge of what they're testing nor do they have sufficient talent to be there in the first place 8)

I'm afraid AH (made) products, despite improvements, are still pretty much down the lower end of the food chain. Their pricing is competitive but I'd sooner pay a few quid more and have stuff right. If nothing is done about the Meteor.. it will be my last purchase.

Got an email yesterday and deleted it. Looking on the JF site now, it may have been advertising the impending end of the release price *-) Should have read it really but saw 1-11 and binned it
