Just Flight with another new one!

Post by Nigel H-J »

This time the Meteor F8/FR9

http://www.justflight.com/product/meteor-f8-fr9

Looks quite good internally from what is shown. Quite a few now to look forward to from the BAC1-11, VC10, HS748 and now this.

Gonna have to save me some pennies!

Nigel.

I got 25 hours 35 mins in the Meteor 8 at the end of 1953...It was a lovely stable gun platform. I fired 553 rounds of 20mm ammo at towed flags and got 23.2% hits, which gave me an "Exceptional" rating. I also did a couple of flag tows. I really liked the Meteor 8 and would have liked to fly it some more, but the opportunity never arose so that was all the time I got in it...It was flown at the Central Gunnery School Royal Air Force Leconfield in Yorkshire. :)

It wasn't you that I watched at Hayling Island then , Peter. :|

btw, Peter, you once mentioned the buttons on AFV. I've learnt a bit more since.
If you have time and inclination, let me know what you think.

Looks okay, but it's their VC-10 that really interests me. Well...until it's released, anyway.

Are we sure David M and Rick P have not gone to work for Just Flight? Cool if they did, it was very good of them to make these wonderful aircraft and give it to us for free, but it's hard to spend the time to keep them up to date without a way to pay the bills.
Joe Cusick,
