Hello everyone
Since Rick Piper's great 748, I'd given up hope that another solid version would ever be created for FS again. Glad to see that JF are doing one, but keen on thoughts from contributors here about what you think this new version might be like - or not be like. I haven't tried any of the other British classics they have developed, so have no measure as to what I can expect.

Interesting, I had not seen that before on their development page. Of course they have had the 1-11 on their dev page for years it seems and we have not seen it yet. Pictures look nice though.

I still use Ricks 748 in FSX and although there are a few minor bugs I am convinced that JF will have to really pull something magical out of the bag to come near or even better it!!
Whoa!!
Just had a look at the pics of the 748 and have to say it is quite impressive so far!!
I could end up eating my previous words!!

Re: Just Flight HS748
I have to admin, I love ricks HS748 but I find it a bit frustrating. I have been trying to get back into flying for CBFS and have been practicing with his 748 before doing a real flight. Tonight I was doing a simple flight from Manchester to Jersey and around FL210 my engines freeze up and I can't get them restarted because I forgot to turn on one of the heaters (I still don't know which one) and I end up crashing, and I hate that kind of ####. If your don't a cold start then fine, you have to turn everything on, but if you start the sim with the engines started then all those things should be on already. So maybe a f-lite 748 maybe what I need.
End of rant.
Sorry.

I feel you, Joe. Issues with flying Rick's 748 brought me back to this board for the first time in a decade. I have not given up on it, however.
