Re: Panel for converted FS9 Lancaster in FSX
I agree. But at least there are two Lancasters out there that work in FSX. The FCS version is a native FSX model, and has its supporters, but personally I prefer the Plane Design FS9 model, which works fine in FSX (including all the boost gauges) with a couple of tweaks. I have the McLennan modified versions, but have never flown them, so I can't really comment on why they don't fully work. The original PD model is fine, if a little dated. There has recently been an upsurge in interest in it over at SOH (I hope it's OK to post a link to another sitehobby wrote: I regret that we do not yet have an up to date FSX native model of the Lancaster although there have been three FSX conversions of the Plane Design Lancaster by Ross McLennan, one aircraft is capable of dropping bombs, one of the boost gauges does not work on the panel which rather spoils the simulation.
