I can just imagine them hurling round the top of the wall with the Lion's ears and mane flapping wildly the wind, with the lion sitting in terror & looking out of the corner of its eye at him and thinking "Right you, see when we're back down there, you've a'd it my old china...!" :$ :lol:

My condolences to the family and friends of this remarkable man. What a record of accomplishment he had 487 different types of aircraft, Wow! At 97 he had a good innings but it would have been great to make that century.
