Re: Just Flight Dove Released....
More on the Grand-daddy's axe that is the Dove - a post on the Just Flight forum claims that a table is missing from the air file (473) - certainly adding one as suggested in the thread makes for a more flyable plane in pitch but I'm not sure about the effects on other areas.... ![Thinking *-)](./images/smilies/eusa_think.gif)

Re: Just Flight Dove Released....
It certainly flies well with the fs9 models airfile and cfg extracts added. For fsx, the model may need a little less drag but the associated AH gauges allow it to run there or thereabouts. I do wonder wtf the beta team actually look at.. assuming they have a beta team.

That's the problem Dave - they could have done with the A team.

Re: Just Flight Dove Released....
The sound files need attention. There is no difference in sound between internal and external for both starter and startup. External sounds have no panning (left or right) whereas internal sounds do. This is basic stuff and for the record I would never allow any of my freeware sound files to be released like this.
I think it is called attention to detail.

I did some beta testing work for JF some years ago and they seem to be 'selective' as to which snag reported is addressed!

I do not know much about .air files but the remark on the JF forum about a missing table made me curious. So I started comparing the JF dove's .air file against the one from this site. Looks like the same file but for a small amount of changes (added tables and missing tables) and indeed.. CM vs. AOA table is missing (table 1546 from yours that is).
What baffled me was this:
End line on the CBS dove's .air file:
V2.84.65 de Havilland 104_t 30/11/2004 14:27:28
Last AirUpdate: Nov 30 14:28:06 2004R
Record count: 64
vs.

V2.84.65 de Havilland 104_t 30/11/2004 14:27:28
Last AirUpdate: Nov 30 14:28:06 2004R
Record count: 65
Does it use the same .air file in basic? Or do I clearly know nothing about their set-up?
Anyways, will be testing it with the added table from de CBS Dove and see if it works!
