I've just moved 2 of the Tangmere Museum's FS2004-based flight simulators (originally set up some 11 or so years ago by Trev Clark) to newer - but still Windows XP - computers. One is working perfectly but the other shows the runways and taxiways as a textureless black in the default 2D cockpit view - see screen shot below. I've pressed the W key to remove the control panel for a clearer view but it's the same with it in place and it does not matter which aircraft is used - the runways and taxiways are always black both on the ground and in the air from the cockpit view.
At first I thought I'd failed to copy a texture or it had become corrupted but on selecting an overhead view...
the virtual cockpit view...
or an outside view...
...the texture is there. Any thoughts on where to start looking?
