ggi wrote:Hi Peter the new EVP files use a slightly different format not compatible with FS9. There is possibly a mismatch going on with new files and old programs. Unfortunately the new EVP has no compatibility with FS9. Not the answer you wanted, but it possibly explains the error.
My file is from my FS9 and works perfectly with all the modern ATC phrases...I feel confident that simply copied into anyone's FS9 it will work perfectly if that person has Editvoice pack installed. The file is USEnglishBig.gvp and goes in the FS9/Sound folder.

Ah okay, sorry I thought you were using new files with VP3. I hope you can get it resolved.

Hi Gary,it's not Peter or Graham(Filonian)that are having grief,it's me with my EVP.

Having said that though,it seems it might well not be EVP that's at fault but Microsoft XP itself.

When I try to import new callsigns(I'm running Fs9 plus some ACG and MAIW Add-ons to get my environ.as close as possible to present day)
for modern RAF/FAA/USAF based plus the warbirds that I like to display,I get the following error message:

"Index was outside the bounds of the array"

I've tried(short of completely re-installing XP)all sorts of wheezes, tricks, fixes,WHY to get it to play, but to no avail :wall: :wall: :wall: .

Peter and Graham,I can't thank you both enough.

Between you you've sorted the problem.

Peter,many thanks for the disc,it seem's mine's original USEnglishBIG file must've been somehow corrupted,the one you've sent
me has rectified that and I can now import again.

Graham, the EVP mods you did and sent me have now been imported and is all good.

Once again, thankyou both for your time and generosity,it really is very, very much appreciated.

Mark
