Aerosoft F6 Lightning Released

Post by DaveB »

Hi Chaps..

The Aerosoft F6 has been released. If you bought the F3, you get a discount on it too. Sadly.. I have neither

I've got to admit I'm tempted. They both look gorgeous. Would I have the time and patience to master them, though ? Probably not.

Indeed mate. The F3 has just had a major update making it TacPak compatible too.. not that this bothers me as I don't have it.. yet  I don't think I'd go for the F6.. not yet awhile anyway as I have the JF F6 which although a bit long in the tooth now.. it still serves a purpose.

What I have to do is stop being a Magpie... buying bright, shiny things.. flying them a couple of times.. then forgetting about them 8)

Exactly the same here, Dave - exactly! And there are many of us. As we said in another thread, sometimes it's simply the quality of the modelling work that proves irresistible, regardless of whether you are interested in the aircraft or not. I've been doing some aircraft reinstalling in recent days, and looking through the archives, it makes me shudder to think of the money that's been spent, and the relatively few hours that have been flown. It's the same with payware airports - I have quite a few UK ones that I've never ever used.

Roll on retirement - I'll have the time to fly those neglected aircraft, and not the money to buy new ones.
