But...but....but....Ben, they say they haven't written the special version for my particular computer-I'm getting a personalised operating system, aren't I?

It may just be that something on your PC needs drivers that aren't yet compatible while your wife's machine is OK.... I had quite a fiddle to get the NVIDIA drivers working even with the invite to download: the uppgrade worked fine except that it was using Windows native graphics drivers (i.e. no hardware acceleration!) That was a bit of a shock fps wise untill I realised what had happened.Airspeed wrote:Sounds encouraging, John!
Funny thing is, I reserved a copy weeks ago, but when I checked recently, I was told that:
