Can a technically minded member please enlighten me on the above aspect of Fs9?
How does one choose the best display resolution (1280 x 1024 x 32 etc) for one's own computer/graphics card?
What are the main factors to consider when setting the display resolution?

Most people set it to the same resolution that you have your monitor set at.

Yep, second that. Set it to your monitors native resolution.

Re: Correct setting of the available display resolution fs9
Thank you for your answers but how do I find the resolution of my monitor?
Re: Correct setting of the available display resolution fs9
Right click on the desktop - select screen resolution from the menu - in Win 7 at any rate - cannot remember if other windows was different.

There's probably one resolution that's marked as "recommended" which should be your monitors native res.
Or google the specs of your monitor.

Found the recommended resolution via the control panel/display route. I have now set my resolution to the recommended value - thanks to forum members for pointing me in the correct direction.
