Using a Terrain Mesh other than FSXs' Default

Post by airboatr »

Greetings and Salutations

Anyone using freeware mesh ? I'm specifically looking at FSX Central America _ Caribbean- South America 76m Terrain Mesh (all four parts)
http://www.simviation.com/simviation/st ... =147&page=

It's suggested by the developers of the PW Sceneries for the Caribbean to use the aforementioned mesh.

Thanks for any suggestions.. :)

Joe

Hi Joe :hello:

Well.. I have a payware mesh covering the UK (GenX) which isn't free of course but it's not default either. Nothing wrong with using 3rd party mesh.. it's generally higher def than the default and looks closer to the real thing ;)

It's just that they're a bit more relaxed about definition there.
