Gentlemen,
I can advise that Horizon/Playsims Volume 1-10 cover the UK and ROI with the exception of Northern Ireland. They are available for FS9 and FSX, (but not as one volume package; you need to purchase for the sim). Volume 7 for FS9 was not produced in quantity but is available for free to customers purchasing volumes 6/8 - FS9 from Flightstore.

Treescapes were produced for all Photo Scenery Volumes, (FSX). Unfortunately Volume 7 was only released via Earth Simulations as a download. It was to be released on disc but the company closed before the discs were manufactured.

Treescapes for Volumes 4/5 were released as a free download by Earth Simulations and can still be obtained on request via the Flightstore forum.

Earth Simulations Scotland (West), Volume 6.1 covered the western half of the Horizon/Playsims Volume 6 area together with the North West Quarter of Volume 7. It was only ever released on a Portable hard drive and was not licensed for sale by any other company.

Hope this helps.

Tony

Checked my stack of FSX discs. :worried:
Guess what, like DaveB, I have Central Scotland too.
It was North that I didn't get, because in a daze, I thought it was part of the Western Isles and Shetland / Orkneys that I did buy. Must pay more attention. :$

I have been checking my disks pending re-installation on a new PC and found that I have Treescapes 7. I must have downloaded it prior to ES closing. I can't remember whether I paid for it or it was a free download as part of a package.

I am a FS9 man ..still... So today I did a night flight into BHX No night lighting at all in the VFR scenery yet it is supposed to have it? I am getting fed up with this lot glad I bought all the DVD's for a minute amount of cash in the sale, may eBay the lot and go back to before :)

Yes TM.. that is a drawback of staying with FS9. The night textures you mention were once a freeware addon.. like the trees if I remember right. I started to get interested in them as a lot of VA flights required landing in the UK at night but the more I looked.. the more complex it got. Download one file and the readme says you also need download 'B'. Download 'B' and the readme for that said you needed yet another download. I gave up there

I'd be inclined to agree with that George. I went flying up the A5 not long ago and suddenly noticed what looked like a highway/main road going off to the right (I was heading toward Tamworth. I travel this road daily and couldn't remember this road. I turned the time back to day and there WAS no road.. just lights at night  As real as it gets ;)
