Question

Post by dodger »

Hi,

I purchased the Wilco Harrier two weeks ago and installed it into FSX ok but had problems with my PC where after reinstalling FSX i can't install it until i get replies from Wilco regarding the Keycode, so i have not been able to fly it for this last week which i am not very happy about,

What is the Razbam Harrier and AV8 like? is there any problems with their installations, i have never had a problem like Wilco's before with any aircraft and would just like to make sure i do not have this problem again.

Thanks for any help,

Roger

The Razbam Harriers are a much different beast. They're GR7/8 and AV8 rather than the Wilco GR3/Sea Harrier and the flight characteristics are a little odd. They're MUCH better on FR's though.

Have you tried to uninstall it.. even though it's not installed in this version of FSX? It may well have registry keys which might be the cause of your problem. Chances are any uninstall would fail as it couldn't find the path but if you're happy fiddling in your registry, it's worth a look to see if any keys are present.

Who did you buy it off? Do they not offer any support?

Hi Dave,

I purchased it from E Bay new boxed, i have found out that after you have installed once if like me you want to install it again you contact Wilco and you get another Keycode, i will just have to wait until i hear from them.

Thanks as always for your help,

Roger

Hi Rog :hello:

Ahh.. ok. I've no knowledge of how good or bad Wilco's customer support is but fingers crossed they're not as slow as Razbam :wall: 8) Y'know.. I swear I've installed the Wilco model twice and I used the key that came with it on both occasions (bought it from JustFlight). Looks like they set it up differently on the DVD version though god knows why :dunno:
