During the current sale I've picked up trees, and vector and both seem to play very nicely with my already installed FTX england, love how its enabling VFR but without the 90's era flat graphics of dodgy photos pasted onto a mesh like nor mal photo scenery. The tress really are quite varied, flown in spring and summer so far. I'll have to look into winter, I'm hoping the same theme of variation carries on.

Downloaded and installed FTX Trees but unfortunately have not quite got them to appear as they should, the new FTX Central V2 has not installed as it should and found that I need to update Microsoft.Net Framework 4 Client Profile version. 4.0.30319 of which I have to 4.5

Going down to my local computer shop to update Net Framework this week and then hopefully will be able to enjoy the new FTX Trees.

Nigel,
if you look on the Orbx forums, you'll find that you don't NEED to install FTX Central version 2 before you install the HD Trees. It's apparently perfectly possible to use version 1 to install the trees. If I have time later, I'll see if I can find that reference for you,

Computer now updated to Netframe 4.5.......FTX Trees HS installed......Updated NVidia Graphic Driver as well......result?...........Brilliant!! :excited:

It is said that there is a gain of up to 20% fps with the trees but I have found that my overall performance has increased by more than that and think it is also due to the updated driver for my graphic card and I am sure that I am not imagining this!! 8)

If anyone has NVidia 700 Series ( I have the GTX 760) and after installing Version: 352.86 WHQL Release Date: 2015.5.18 FSX performance has improved, had the previous version but no noticeable difference until using this latest one.

If any-one else has similar and gives it a try be interesting to hear of your comments.

Hi,
just installed the driver update and HD trees; increase of 5-10 fps but the best thing is the smoothness! Lovely.

Best wishes

Hi Nige, have to say that I am well chuffed with the trees, makes the scenery that much better and pleased to hear that you got a 5 - 10fps improvement
