Late Arrival

Flew from Shoreham to Elstree late afternoon but got delayed on take-off for return flight as a result not only was light fading but also weather clamped in!! :worried:

Arrived back at Shoreham then legged it smartly before being hauled in about flying in poor vis and with no nav lights. :lol:

Back in those days , I guess it was flt planning on the back of a fag packet ....... but at least you'd have matches to light up the map in the 'gloaming' .
