Rick's 748

Today I see that there's a second update of the FSX 748 posted on SimViation. Both files are primarily repaints, but the notes suggest that the VC in each has been updated, and the models are also included in the uploaded files. Having looked at the files, I see that there have been some changes to the model files themselves, and both VC and non-VC models seem to be included. Moreover, unless a read.me file is buried deep within the folder tree, there's nothing to indicate that the author has gained permission from Rick to post these changes.

I would have been happy to keep these files if they had been simple texture updates, but as it is they're going straight in my bin after posting this topic ...

Thanks for the HU Ro. I've no idea if Rick has been contacted privately about the 748 but for sure.. no request has been made here. He often pop's into the forum so I'm sure he'll get this

I've downloaded/installed the Canadian package and it appears that this is simply a repaint of the original model, but the uploader has included the entire aircraft.

I'm sorry but as I said before, the model files are NOT the same as Rick's official release from here. I don't know what changes have been made, but the files are definitely different ...
