Re: Youtube
I don't think you can directly. Depending on the browser you use, there may be a plugin available that can help. I use one for Firefox that can download videos and that tells me the size, depending on the video quality chosen.

If you use the download facility "savefrom 'dot' net" Copy the video url from the youtube video of choice. Paste it into savefrom and click the Download button. It won't actually start downloading, it will first search for the video. Once it has found all formats, you can click on the small circled " i " for info button next to e.g. 720.mp4, it will then load the actual size in megabytes. Sounds complicated but it's a piece of cake.

Re: Youtube
Adding ss in front of youtube. In the url will take you directly to the download page
eg. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iOoiEbtf2w&app=desktop
click on that
when there add ss after www. And before youtube
thus
https://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=4iOoi ... pp=desktop
click on that and itll take you to the save from site
Joe
doing so may be against youtube policy
