You might have seen this before but...

The video is very dramatic and I enjoyed it even though I have seen it before. Pretty terrifying it must have been to discover that with fully deflected controls to keep level, the slowest he could go was 250-260 knots!...I'm not surprised that at that speed the "Wire" just ripped the hook out of the aeroplane...And then as the fuel vapours cleared to look out and see how little remained of the one wing!! WOW! Can't really imagine how his brain reacted to that sight!

Yes amazing...but also I thought he was attacking an A4.....why was it shown as a F100?
Typical History channel I suppose!

Oh don't you know it. The other day, I was watching a prog about a 747 that crashed.
Cut to flightdeck... hold on.. there's only two throttle levers.
Well see that was the problem all along.
Somebody installed a two engine flightdeck into a 4 engine plane...
