It's very 'Bristow'.. old school, but not too old if that makes sense. They've been red, white and blue for a long time but the colours used to run horizontally rather than at a jaunty angle as in the BA paint. From there, the diagonals became more shaped (thank god I didn't have to paint that!!
).. more modern and that's pretty much how they are now. I'm presuming that the BA borrowed this scheme from Bristow for the duration of their lease rather than Bristow nick it from BA. I don't know if BA repainted the rear in that lovely blue but the only shots I can find show it like this.. likewise on the Bell 212. Bristow's blue was always much lighter. It's a nice livery for sure. Anything that can make a Super Puma look anything but ugly can't be bad
