Just reinstalled Windows and FS9 recently, I'm startng again from scratch. I remember I used to have either a Venom or a Vampire before but with the demise of Britsim, I'm not sure where I got it and can't seem to find any now.
Does anyone know what options are available to me? I would be particularly interested in the DH115 Vampire, if one exists, and yes, I'm still on FS2004/FS9
I used to use the old Alpha Venom and Vampire in FS9. Just been over to their freeware site (now maintained by Virtavia) and surprised to see neither on the list. Quite a shock to find they're still payware after all these years There must be freeware alternatives out there.. perhaps flightsim.com or one of the other major sites will have what you need
I have searched my old FS9 backup files and found the freeware FSFrance Vampire. Their site closed down after some berk kept nicking their designs and passing them off as all their own work. My copy includes all of my repaints released on BritSim. I can upload a copy to Sendspace temporarily if you give me your email addy.

OK. I have found a Swedish site, RB designs that has got the FSFrance Vampire model available for download, albeit with a Swedish livery. Link: http://www.rbdesign.se/flygplan_JAKT.html
I can upload my repaint files to Sendspace if you would like them.
Thanks for the tip, wouldn't have found that otherwise! I have the the Roger hardy one but it crashes FS every time I try to load it. I'll try this FS France one. What repaints have you done?
Thanks Peter, that's brilliant - just had a to be a bit careful with that download site, all manner of things saying "download" and all were viruses except the little link to your ZIP in the middle!
Paints are great though, and you found quite an obscure Swiss vampire
You look like you know your Vampires and you've probably found these sites already, but other may also find them interesting:
This is also a good site (and click on the little UK in the corner for non German speakers ). Huge number of interesting photos. http://old.hermannkeist.ch/
