I've not even attempted P3D Rob.. the slightest thing can upset FSX on my i5 so why aim for the next one up without the hardware to handle it! :cpu:

The current price is certainly tempting but having just had to do a fresh install of FSX Deluxe + ACC.. I took the precaution of making a complete copy.. 2 in fact (Sri Mr Microsoft).. one on a spare drive and the other on an external so hopefully.. I'm covered for a while. That's the theory anyway

Crivens! & Help ma Bob!

It's back up to CDN$ 27.99.

It's like watching the price of Petrol (Gas) today I paid 97 cents per liter at Costco, cheaper than when we came here 10 years ago.

Thought I'd install FSX-SE on my little 10" Windows tablet (1.33Ghz Intel Atom CPU with embedded graphic & 2gb ram  ) just for a laugh. Didn't actually expect it to even run, but did. Loaded up the default C172 at Duxford.
Frame rate set to 30 & that's where it sat. Changed the setting to unlimited & it went up to 40ish. :-O OK, most of the graphics setting were on the low side, but even cranking them up a bit to mid range and I was still getting 25 to 30. Quite impressed really. :) Now, where's my PMDG NGX...

I'm somewhat surprised to find that DTG have found several FSX add-ons that they have released on Steam. The latest are the four parts of JF's VFR scenery for England and Wales - currently on 25% discount at £9.74 each until 1800 GMT on March 3rd (or all four parts for £29.99) ...
