ASN

Post by robbie »

I've almost managed to get FSX set up..still having problems with freezing though!.

I have ASN installed and also REX soft clouds, can anyone help me out using these two(2) progs together?, I'm really not sure what settings I should use with the ASN weather panel, ie if I use "live weather" will soft clouds still appear, or do I select user defined weather for ASN?, I do use ASN for the flight plan so I need to have the program running.

Any suggestions please guys

Robbie.

Hi Robbie :hello:

ASN will use whatever clouds you have loaded. If you have only default clouds.. it will use them. If you have Soft Clouds.. it will use them. It doesn't care ;) ASN is a weather program.. it does not have it's own clouds. If you select live weather.. it will depict what is current as well as it can with the clouds you have loaded. In fact.. whatever type of weather you select (Live/Static/Historic).. it will depict that selection using the clouds you have loaded/installed. There are instances were some clouds will compress slightly but by and large.. if you don't like the look of what you're seeing, it's the clouds themselves.. not ASN ;)
