It's priced at US$ 89.99 till March 7th and then goes up to the full retail price of $134.99. I must say, I'm rather tempted. I've got the gorgeous MD-11 and quite fancy another one of their models.

Not for me thanks Not particularly interested in the 777, good though it undoubtedly is. I may get the NGX (don't tell Ben ) when it makes it's way across to P3d though.

Well no, I wasn't that interested in the 777 either, but when you're an add-onaholic like me, the worst thing they can do is lower the price of something and tell you it will be going up on a certain date. You get that 'now-or-never' panic.

Graham, by this time in my life I've had to give up too many things. Your suggestion is a 'cold turkey' too far.

OK.. I'll admit I've wanted the MilViz/Nemeth Skycrane for ages but wasn't prepared to cough up full whack for it. I bought so many things over Christmas, I didn't have the heart to spend any more so I let it go. The MilViz T38.. well, I've had a thing for the F5 for ages and the T38 is basically a parallel development. It got to the last day of the MilViz sale and I could resist no more
While I'm here.. the Skycrane wags its head like the Hind (both Nemeth developed air files I fear) which is disappointing and you can't.. to the best of my knowledge.. drop the container (you CAN drop water from the other version) but the T38 is an interesting little model. Landing requires more than a modicum of concentration and to land well requires considerably more. Those 'fag paper thin' wings have pretty much zero lift As such.. cranking the aircraft over on the ailerons doesn't have you turning like you'd expect.. you have to drag it around the bends on the elevator. Interesting.. very interesting

Anyhoo.. I can put hand on heart and say there will be NO PMDG 777 in the near or distant future taking up space on my HD. So there

There's a lot of people over at Avsim getting their knickers in a twist over the pricing. I can see their point, 90% of the model / coding will be exactly the same as the FSX version. The difference comes in the licensing. I'm sure Boeing didn't give away the license to PMDG to use a representation of their aircraft in a Lockheed Martin simulator aimed at the professional market. That won't have come cheap so PMDG has to pass the cost on.

When VRS release TacPack fro P3d it will only work on the Academic version, so that's going to annoy people who bought the P3d Professional!
