I think he has enough on his plate at the moment with some of his FS9 payware appearing as freeware on a particular site! Richard (JF) uploaded an SP2 patch at the OutHouse while we were all busy downloading the SP1 model time and time again. Oddly enough.. it was only a small file and certainly not worthy of a 400+mb download! I'm not sure at the moment if it's completely worked or if it's just me unable to get the AP to function correctly. The 'Pink' vc has definitely gone so part of the problem has gone. There's a slight pause when switching views sometimes but not as often as before and what's displayed is not pink so that's a result
I've read the FM again re AP operation and I'm sure I was operating it correctly.. 99% sure.. but I'll persevere. I didn't use it much first time around as it was so easy to hand fly and this aspect hasn't changed. Onward and upward ;)

EDIT: Tried again with the 'early' paint and the AP worked. Did I do anything different.. I'm jiggered if I know :dunno: Having finally got to land the SP2 version.. I think it's more wayward than the last one.. low speed handling that is

Dave, after deleting the original PR9 and installing the SP2 version, I found the throttles wouldn't move. I had to load up another aircraft ( just happened to be the A2A Cessna 172 ), operate the throttle on that, and then went back to the Canberra. Haven't got time to check it at the moment, but I wonder if that's going to be a problem every time I run the sim ( P3DV2 ). Have you had any problems with the throttles on any of the PR9 models since SP2 ?

No problems here. Removed the old PR9 & installed the new one. Loaded up the sim and the Canberra worked fine. I always load to the Cessna 172 first though (ported from FSX) before choosing whatever aircraft I'm going to fly.

Paul, someone recommended for complex aircraft like the Cranberry to always launch the flight with a stock FSX aircraft like the C172 and then switch aircraft. It works for me, if I don't I sometimes face the same issue you had or the engines won't start.

Paul..

Adding to what Dave and Henk have already said.. I too always load (FSX) with the default Cessna then select the model I want to fly once the sim is up and running. Can't say I've noticed the throttles not moving/animating but I'll check :)

EDIT: Just flown Culdrose-Gib and all appears fine.. including the throttle animation.

Thanks for the reminder about the default flight first chaps - I'd quite forgotten that tip. Thing is, I did boot up P3DV2 with the default F22-at-Langley flight, and then changed the vehicle to the PR9 so ...hmmm. *-) Ah well, it doesn't matter - I know what to do if it happens again. Thanks guys. :)
