UK Roads

Post by migman29 »

Anyone ever used UK Roads by Chris Kellet for Fs9?

The installer tells you to point to your "Microsoft Games" folder, but not into Fs9 itself.

It installs a texture folder in the games folder but not into Fs.

Am I missing something(probably are you nit-wit)or do you then have to install bits
manually to get things to show up?

Hello Mate :hello:

Does it specifically say don't install it to your root FS9 folder or does it just say install it to Microsoft Games.. the default location which none of us use? *-) I've installed a couple of oldies recently (into FSX) and they pointed to Microsoft Games.. I'm guessing the old installer didn't actually look for FSX in the registry. If you're uncomfortable letting it do it's own thing.. install it to a Temp folder then have a good look at the contents (assuming it has an installer). If it doesn't.. note the contents and lob it straight into your FS9 install.

That's what I'd do matey :)
Oh.. I've not used this software btw ;)
