Re: WIP: De Havilland DH.125 for FSX/P3D
I deleted alot of the viper sounds together with all the vampire ones and added AP disconnected, stall and overspeed. Ammended the sound.cfg too. You can download the package here:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/raqcid
I have still to modify it to allow for sound cones.

Thanks for that very Much Nev.
But, would it be better if I wait until you've finished the mods?
I might go looking for Configs ... in all the wrong places....

Certainly if you wish, it will not take long to do the sound cones (maybe later today) but the present package is good for FSX and P3DV2.
The cones do add to it though.

OK I got it. Dave~Z
I forgot how to read that area of the config. I remembered tonight,
It's all measurements.
I tried the default Lear numbers but , the wheels sunk into the runway on landing, so I settled on half ,--- for now...

Errr that Sendspace link wanted to install all manner of crap on the PC.

First off it wanted to update Flashplayer to an older version than I already have installed , then it wanted to install their search engine and start page. Thankfully I have a clever prog called Unchecky which intercedes and alerts.

Re: WIP: De Havilland DH.125 for FSX/P3D
I had no issues downloading it
You just have to choose the correct link. Sometimes (i.e. most times) these low life type of sites attempt to get you to download and install all kinds of rubbish, often by providing several different "Download Now" links on one page. I have a neighbour who I visited yesterday to sort his PC after receiving a mail from him containing a trojan link, which I knew he hadn't sent.
I found no less than 611 infected files on his PC and his Outlook account had been hacked. 90% (ish) of that was due to all kinds of stuss (German word meaning crap stuff) that had been put on his PC whilst installing legitimate and often necessary progs. The hack was a result of him clicking on the link in an email the same as the one I'd received from him (as did everyone else in his address book).
Just about every non-savvy person I help with their PCs suffers from this, it's about time it was made illegal. The option to install crap you don't want should not be automatically enabled - it should be your choice, requiring positive physical action by the user to enable.
Okay - off the soap box, but it still causes me hours of extra hassle, sorting friends' PCs out.
