As I've just posted in my thank you to Anthony, I'd taken any special characters from the part names, seeing as it was complaining about name, but hadn't twigged the texture
Successfully compiled today.
Ben, I've had a few dips into Sketchup8. Some of the features are really good, and it's probably worth more of my time to explore.
