Building RAE Bedford for FSX

Re: Building RAE Bedford for FSX
Rebuilt the Tower tonight as it was a bit wrong. The entrance was completely wrong, and I had no photos of the East side before. I managed to get one showing the fires escapes etc, so these have been modelled now and I've added the railings, antenna and lights.

Another one for George?
When you were helping me with Wisley, you made a file for me that had the effect of modifying the underlying mesh, so that there weren't the great "cliffs" at either end of the runway. I'm having a similar issue with Bedford / Thurleigh and was wondering if you could talk me through what I need to do to smooth the transition from the airport flatten to the surrounding mesh. Hope that makes sense.

Here are a few more shots of last nights work in SketchUp for those that might be interested. The East side has used lots of poetic license as only one photo which is relatively small. I've a few shots of the front now so it should be more accurate. I've included one of the photos for comparison.
Ben.

That's great work Ben
I couldn't get to grips with Sketchup.

It kind of takes the premise that you start with a block of wood and chisel away at it, rather than building components and sticking them together. (you can do the later, but I couldn't get to grips with it very well.) I have used components for things like railings etc which are easy enough to position, but the bulk of it is carved from a great big virtual box
