Hi Guys.
First I'd like to say you have done a wonderful job on the DeHavilland Mosquito. It sounds fantastic and flies beautifully.
I find myself flying it over New Zealand OrbX scenery throttling up and down just to listen to the engine changes.
Many thanks for all your excellent hard work on producing this.
I have also been investigating prop feathering and find that I can successfully get either prop to feather independently with nice animation, but the prop_pitch2 axis also seems to operate the bomb bay doors - is that correct? Any way to make the doors operate on prop_pitch3 axis?
The XML used is for my saitek quadrant is
<Entry>
<Index>7</Index>
<Down>PROP_PITCH1_DECR</Down>
<DownRpt>1</DownRpt>
<Up>PROP_PITCH1_HI</Up>
</Entry>
<Entry>
<Index>8</Index>
<Down>PROP_PITCH2_DECR</Down>
<DownRpt>1</DownRpt>
<Up>PROP_PITCH2_HI</Up>
</Entry>
Many thanks for your help and for such a fantastic model.

Re: Mosquito prop feather and bomb doors
Hi Ray, and welcome to the forum
The bomb bay doors operate with the spoiler command, so prop pitch shouldn't affect them. Sounds like you've got duplicate assignments set up on the quadrant. I'd double check your assignments in FSX and / or FSUIPC if you use that.

Hi Dave,
Yes you'er absolutely right, I have been trying various things and had swapped that axis back to spoiler instead of prop pitch but had left the switch at the bottom of travel linked to prop pitch. Everything working fine now.
Great model
Many thanks

Re: Mosquito prop feather and bomb doors
Ray,
Here is one I did with the Mosquito:-
Here in New Zealand, where the only real flying Mosquito in the World lives, is a magic place in Fjordland on the South Island...

The video runs for ten minutes and is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked.
