I've put Ted's Binbrook on for now. The two closed runways look fine but the open runway appears to be 3 runways :-O A wide one and 2 thinner ones sat side by side on top of it. Is this a way to enable multiple takeoff's? It would explain you mentioning there were 3 codes for it *-) Looks a bit odd to me :worried:

Hi mate,
Yes, that may well be why it was done that way.

Hmm.. it would have been better for him to have given the additional runways no texture or markings but hey-ho :cpu:

Didn't Visual Flight do a payware Binbrook? I had it on my "wanted" list for months, but when I went to finally buy it, I couldn't find it anywhere.

I only wanted it for reasons of nostalgia, mind, my old man having been stationed there 3 times in the '60s. Seemed we were moving on every year or two back then *-)

Just in time to get back on topic..

 When will I learn! :dunno:

Actually.. I like this one. The last of my JF points have gone but I'm happy

I find Razbam FD's a bit odd and this one is no exception but they do make stuff you can have fun in and as you can see by the FR.. they make 'em easy on frames too ;) I couldn't find Victorious otherwise I'd have tried a trap. Saw the Ark Group going the other way and thought Victorious was going in the opposite direction further west. She must have been going in the opposite direction further east :wall: I anticipate the Corsair will make a good carrier model :cpu:

Right.. off to bed before I buy anything else

Just to get back off topic again  this was the page title at fspilotshop, Dave:
Scotflight - RAF Collection - FlightSim Pilot Shop
but it now has a "product not available" message.iirc, the product picture was a long line of Lightnings on the pan. I'll have a look for the one you mention instead.

As far as the Harrier goes, it does look smart in the manual, too, (getting back on topic again...) but I've not yet had time to fire it up. I'll take a few happy snaps when I do.

The Harrier's quite good I think, even if some of the paint schemes do have the fin-flash backwards on one side :worried:

re. Binbrook, there's one for download over at SimOuthouse. No idea what it's like though.

Yes.. the manual for the Harrier is important. I know because I've yet to look at it  No.. it IS important and I MUST look at it because I've yet to master a number of areas.. not least of all vertical flight :wall:

JD.. I think the Scotflight RAF Airfields are now part of Scotflight itself rather than a separate purchase but the Scotflight setup can be a bit confusing so I may be wrong. If you have no photo scenery, it's straight forward. In this scenario, you 'would' have used RAF Airfields and Scotflight v2 (v2.1 now I think) but as Horizon released the Scottish areas.. the mud thickened and it became possible for incompatibilities. I have GenX vol4 The Western Isles and a new version of Scotflight was released to fit.. Scotflight v2 Photo. What happened in the ensuing releases I don't know but I know there is at least one more version of Scotflight which covers Scotland with all GenX areas. This isn't an update either.. you have to buy the full product.
I'm in an odd situation where I have GenX vol4 and recently bought vol8. I'm pretty sure there's no scenario to cover this. To ensure Scotflight compatibility with vol8, I'd have to buy the full 'newer' Scotflight but this would mean the other areas would be bu99ered.. except vol4. All in all.. it's a mess  I never got to install vol8(with Treescapes) on my WinXP rig as I didn't have HD space for it (something I didn't consider before making the purchase). Now.. I've not installed it because of the Scotflight airfields in the Vol8 area not matching. Things shouldn't be this complex :wall:
