Where's My FSX AI?

Post by PaulC »

Ok Chaps,

First mistake- I've read "Always back up your file", I always think "yeah yeah"....

All my AI has gone. It was only the default with a few extra ships, but even if I put everything 100% I'm alone in the skies ( :( ). So- as I have access to another machine with FSX on, what folders do I need to remove and replace to get it back to default and normal?

Cheers,

Paul

Indeed mate and make sure you don't put FS9 traffic files into FSX without them being converted to FSX format first. Failure to do so will kill your default AI ;)

Cracked it, cheers both. You were right Dave, I think a rogue FS9 had crept in. I've removed the newer files and I'm back!

Cheers chaps.

I found that several of the WOAI traffic files were fs9 format despite being stated as FS9 or FSX. Killed all my military AI until I sussed it and converted the FS9 to FSX with AIFP.
