Looks interesting as a default FSX ATC replacement and an alternative Radar Contact.
Reading some of peoples reviews is inconsistent, some say it's great others that it's unfinished. The YT vids look interesting and the voices sound convincing.
Opinions please.....

Re: Anyone tried/own PRO-ATC/X
Hi Alex
I've moved this to Payware having looked at the detail and finding that's what it is!
TBH.. I've not used ATC for so long now (since ProFlight2000!) I'd be hard pushed to 'get into' it again but as you say, it looks like a fair alternative. If it lived up to it's expectations.. you never know

Re: Anyone tried/own PRO-ATC/X
I was looking at this a few days ago. I have a friend who bought it, but now says Radar Contact is better (which is what he was using beforehand and has gone back to) and has offered it to me.
I was unsure, so I checked the web, too, but like you say, 'reviews' vary - though I have yet to find anyone who says the product is actually good.
I might give it a try to see, but I doubt it will be soon, as I don't have FSX installed at all just now. If it works with P3Dv2, I'll try it soon.
Personally, I've used VoxATC for years now, and am very pleased with it. I've never seen any product that has made me wish I had it instead. It's good for learning procedures, it's authentic sounding and it does a good job of providing convincing AI traffic imho. Oh - and it came with 4 ATT voices. I hear he has stopped developing it now, though.
If I get to test Pro ATC X, I'll let you know what I think (but if it's text or point&click based, I won't like it!)

I won't be having this. I went to watch some of the instruction videos that the devs have posted on YouTube and it looks awful to me.
Why? Because it looks like another one of those add-ons where you spend more time setting it up than you do flying, and I bought FSX to fly, not to sit poring over documents and config files.
Apparently the manual is over 300 pages. Nuff said.

Most of what I have seen in the videos showing this has also been text-based.
