I do get the 'runtime error' and the occasional black screen however. :dunno:

Put the new 770 in earlier and its very smooth. Had to nip out so haven't changed any of the graphics settings yet, but no tearing of threshold makers or centrelines at Southampton, Heathrow, Newcastle or Belfast.

I think I'm going to go back to a virgin P3Dv2 install and start from scratch.

This time, I'll install and then test each add-on one at a time. Easier to know what has caused any issues then. Might take me a while, mind - but I'm not complaining! :wasntme:

Chaps,

Just out of curiosity, what texture resolution do you have P3D2 set at, this could be the cause of your woes if its set too high. *-)

Mine is 1024x1024/medium.

I can sleep easy now - I found my back-up discs at last. Phew! 8)

I reset my NVidia driver profile to default and all is working great, so the old rule if its not broken don't tweak it ;)

now running with 2048 texture size and its smooth as a babies bum again.

Ben,

Do you see aircraft shadows on the ground at any of the UK2000 Xtreme airports?

I see them at VFR Airfields but not at the Xtremes.

I'll need to check again George. I'm sure i had them a Newcastle with the old 560, but I've been chasing Victorious for the past day. Out with the kids at the moment, so it will be this evening before i can check.

In the shadow options, if you set simobjects to receive shadows then they show up.
