Just Flight £5 for 48 hours

Post by PaulC »

Hello All,

Just Flight are having another £5 sale; Tristar, 146 and Traffic 360. :welldone:

Downloads only for £5 until 1600 Sunday 17th.

I've got the Tristar for my Cadets Sqn, too good not to I suppose.

Paul

I'd get Traffic360 as it's supposed to be simple but a lot of folk say it's poop. Can't see me ever flying a TriStar on the VA in FSX so I won't bother :cpu:

Hmm, I have the 146, think I paid about £8 for it, so would have saved if I'd waited. Have only sat in it about 3 times and not yet actually moved the thing in the virtual world.

I did buy the TriStar today, though. I don't fly the big stuff that often - usually preferring the smaller aircraft (twin props are my fave) but I use the big stuff like this to make big bucks in Air Hauler, so that I can keep flying the planes that I like, which don't make much money.

I have the Perfect Flight model and was reluctant to buy the JF one in case it was the same. I couldn't resist the £2.50 it cost me to find out, though. Doesn't look the same and I can't find any kind of dev info anywhere - just the Just Flight name, so I will give it a fly asap and see what it's like.

I picked up the 146 for the princely sum of nothing after using my accumulated points

I've just had a couple of quick flights and it's not bad, certainly not up to the Quality Wings standard, but reasonably usable. It's the first JF purchase I've been happy with since I bought my Connies.

Well.. it's after midnight and my BB is free so I cracked and bought the TriStar

Not had a chance to fly it yet. Still reeling over the 813mb download size :-O Didn't use my points so payed full whack.. a fiver! :| I'll clock the QX up again in the morning and give it a run ;)

Now.. next fiver sale.. I want the Harrier GR3 and I'll be mighty disappointed if it ain't there :shhh:

Tested the TriStar out on the Cadets rig. Very impressed. Used my points and bought it myself too.

Bit of a frame rate hit, but still I like it a lot. I'm a fan of the INS Nav and it seems a nice aircraft with intuitive systems.

Not bad for £3.10!!

'A bit of a frame hit' is 'a bit of an understatement' on my system. A combination of the TriStar 'K' and the new UK2K scenery at Brize proved just too much. Pretty much unflyable.. and that with the CPU O/C'd 8) Never mind. It was only a fiver so it'll keep until I have something capable of flying it on ;)
