First Class Simulations: 2 for £25 at JustFlight

Post by DaveB »

As the title suggests.. JF are doing 2 for £25 on a selection of FCS software until this EDIT MONDAY 1400.

Darned shame because I have the Wellington and I want the Lancaster but nothing else. Pity the Sunderbus wasn't included as I may have hit the plastic. Don't wanna pay 25 quid for the Lanc and nothing else in the sale floats my boat :|

With you, Dave ;)
Of the lot, only the Wellington & Lancaster appealed. Looks like several paints included with the Lanc.
Still decided to resist - TBH I already have more than I can cope with in the hangar. :(

Yup - I really like the Welly and enjoyed flying the three missions that come with it. I even use it for cargo flights in air Hauler - but a lack of anything else desirable than the Lanc kills this stone dead.

I have their "Hawker Heroes" pack, too. I wouldn't say the flight dynamics were accurate, especially in the Fury, but they are all very much lots of fun to fly (and no pesky GPS).

Indeed mate :)

The Wellie has some issues.. unload it and the wheels almost lift off plus it has a tendancy to fly left or right (can't remember which now) but it's certainly the best one available. The Lanc (I gather) has it's own set of problems as does the Sunderland (aircraft panels that would look more at home on Titanic) but as the Sunderland isn't included.. my plastic is safe. Perhaps they'll appear on offer around Christmas ;)

TBH Colin.. getting the 146/s for a fiver makes the FCS stuff very expensive even at £12.50.. especially as you have to buy 2! Not knowing when the hammer would strike has been deterrent enough ;)

Besides the NHBC cert for that Sunderland can't have many more years to run?
