The camera sits under the wing in a box which locates on the screws whick would normally hold the stbd door in place the camera is angled fwd and just at fully zoomed out catches the arc of the prop so its a bit out of longitudinal balance however it makes no difference in the trim or owt else the cub carries on as it the cams not there The next challenge once the crop has gone is to drop a parachutist from the aircraft One of the guys has a 1/4 scale man with a steerable chute attached (robbe) once detached from the aeroplane he can be flown down using his own radio control. cool eh
Just done a services on the Chipmunk as the engine was just missing a beat every so often the other day replaced the plug and reset the tappets cleaned the crud ( mostly dead insects) from the engine and cowl See how she goes next time out
Over to the bike now:- Got the seat for the gtr 1400 and its more comfy but still unhappy with the grips
Found a set of grips on ebay for £24 so bidded and got them for £25 They came with the casting which bolts to the steering yolk So removed them and cut narrow wedge out of the bar ( cut nearly all the way through so i could bend the bar so the cut edges met Had the joint welded up painted and rebuilt The ends of the bars are now a good 2 in higher than they were before and with the risers fitted they are nearly 3in higher than standard Much less effort in reaching for the bars and the bike is easier to control steering wise Took her for a run last Saturday to Rhyl airshow, a distance that would have given me trouble coming back from This time no aches or pains and felt a treat to ride Maybe I could make it to London to see Laura

The Monster : You can see the grips are angled up as they exit the mounts on the steering yolk

Couldn't really see the content of that vid due to a box in the middle saying flashplayer wanted to load a file. Saw a trojan downloader Liidu.A get zapped by MSE the other day and it is associated with the flashplayerupdater prog so flashplayer isn't flavour of the month at the moment

Rgr on the camera mate From the way you said the Cub performed after you took the baffle off the exhaust.. I didn't think much would stop it A perk of flying something that big I suppose.. it's not as sensitive to weight/balance as something tiddly.. take the AT-6 as an example

The bars on the Kwak look ok and if they make it more comfortable to ride.. a job well done Did you have to change the brake line too or was there enough play?

I found that flying field again yesterday on my travels.. it's in between Cannock and Penkridge. Wonder what they'd say at work if I turned up with one of the models?

No the cables and the brake/clutch hoses reached ok Main worry was the throttle cables exit the twist grip pointing upwards and I thought that the may foul the fairing around the screen however there is still 10mm or so clearance so happy days
No flying here since last Wednesday Could have slipped out with summat today. Bit windy for petrol but could have took the stryker for a blast
