FTX Scotland Released

Post by Nigel H-J »

Been away from a computer for just over a week but as soon as I got to the library and started surfing what do I come across? *-)

FTX have released Scotland so now I just need to ask the wife if we have any spare cash going, though I still need to get Wales!!

If you have bought England and Wales, you will qualify for a 15% on Scotland if you buy that before 7th July. Also, I think that England and Wales have been reduced in price anyway.

Does that help? :hide:

Bought this today, big download, over 2.7 Gb file size :$
Managed to install & have a quick flight from Tingwall to Scatsta earlier. Scenery 100 times better than anything available in the sim. No silly trees in Shetland

Well worth a look and perfect for use along with the BN Islander in Shetland Islands Council livery :welldone:

Bought it yesterday, the IT Manager at work did me a huge favour and allowed it to be downloaded on one of the standalone computers that is not connected to the intranet, got home with it and today started the install having been down to the library to access the key from Flightsim Store, (off-line validation) but b*gger me, when I clicked OK for it to be registered it told me it was not the correct key (cannot remember what it actually said but it was definately a big Nooooo!!!!! :wall: :help: :'( Checked and double checked that all details were correct before downloading the code so I know it is correct so why does the key not register with the software? If any-one can shed some light on this then it will make me very happy..

Sorry Nigel, I did mine online, just copied & pasted the three bits of info I got in their email into the software when it prompted and off it went, no problem *-)

I needed
Order Number:
Order Date:
Registration Key:

They all had to match exactly what was in the email, so the order date had to be in the same format as given, in case it's something like that. :dunno:

Hi Gordon

Very much the same procedure when doing it off-line but all that has to be done after Order Number and Date is the Registration and then the software converts that to the code.

Will give it one more go by the off-line registration process and if I have no luck will see what Flightsim Store may be able to do for me. :(

Success!! :excited: It appears that the first download may have gone pear shaped in some way as the second one (today) went well and registered OK. My local computer shop downloaded for me and made sure that the off-line registration worked as it should! Only thing is I have not had much time to fly!! :(
