Sri, work got in the way Anyhoo.. not using the supplied alpha's shouldn't make any difference. In the quick test I did, I didn't use the alpha and it displayed ok in FS.. not perhaps has Rick would have intended but it was ok all the same. I did everything you've been doing.. flipped and saved the master as a 32-bit bmp then opened it in DXTBmp and saved as DDS/DXT5. I'm on the laptop at the mo so don't have access to the PK alpha's but as I say.. not using them shouldn't be why you're having a problem mate.
Right.. I've gotta hit the sack as I'm up early in the morning but I'll give it some more thought and hope that something springs to mind
Can you attach or somehow upload one of your texture files? If one of us could try it out then maybe we can eliminate or confirm that it's a format problem and then work from there.
Hi David, thanks again for your assistance. I'm not too sure of any online file-sharing sites that I can use (safely, at the very least) and I don't really want to upload to Simviation or any similar website, because if the texture doesn't work, it wouldn't be fair on people who have inadvertently downloaded it. Any chance I could send the texture files via e-mail (hotmail or such)?
