I just saw that Dale Moore recorded B752 flights with G-BIKF, in our VA...
As CBFS is based on classic era, don't you think the fancy B752 of 80's British Airways look somewhat new-ish for CBFS?
I mean, now are we going to slowly have those FMC airframes in CBFS too? Maybe B734 in later time?
I wonder why we have it . It just looked odd to me. You know, i don't feel B752 is a classic... Its still used widespread.
In short.. a certain 'TSR2' was the driving force behind the 75's introduction If you look at the routes, you'll see there aren't many.. only those it flew early in it's career with BA which 'kinda' keeps it in the upper end of our classic era.. just Also.. it first flew in '81 (though wasn't introduced until a year or so later) and has been out of production since around 2004. It was only when BA decided to retire it that we (the VA) took it up
TBH.. you can argue that the 146 isn't really a classic and lives on as the Avro RJ but we have that too.. a bit of sentiment on our part as it was the last 'British' airliner
Oh, basically you mean that the retired British will have room in our fleet right? Then could you tell me B734s are gonna be welcome once BA retires them?
My understanding was the 737 was re engineered and re engined but was much like the earlier versions with as you say Ben the glass cockpit on the 400 and 500.

Ba have done with the 737 what the did with the original A.320's
Base them all at Gatwick so they can pretend they don't have any....British Airways European Operations Gatwick is a separate airline...which it is when it suits them

Thought I recognised the registration in the posting title
Perhaps not a true classic in the literal sense Although equipped with classic British engines
What determines a classic in a person's view is the age of the person The must have sportscar they saw when walking to school etc
Would fly the 757 more often as Just flights freebe works quite well but would like a few more routes Venice Nice Naples Palma Frankfurt
