Self assemble? I wish it did Dave... but you would still be left with extra bits at the end (or it'll be standing on three legs waiting for the screw to hold the fourth leg up!).

Chris

Wow!!!

I never realised you could sit and watch it....I always thought you had to put it together :stupid:

PS...I know where you live...which means I also know you won't be 'round :hide:

Chris.. having bits over is no bad thing. Having bought from MFI many years ago, they always came with bits missing

Do you mean Plan-G?

I use it all the time, running on my W7 machine connected to FSX on my XP machine. BTW, it's free.
FREE?? GREAT!!!! :excited: Think I will down load it next week then as don't like the FSX version.

Thanks George.

Regards
Nigel.

 just had a thought.......does any-one know if you have to have internet to use this Plan-G or is it a free standing one? I am not on internet so need a flight planner that can be used without internet connection.

Oh bother!! Internet is required - oh well - back to plan A. :(

I may be wrong and SWMBO points out that I often am. For purely planning I think Plan-G is OK, it is if you want to use it as a moving map that Internet becomes essential. I can't test it as I am permanently connected.

Nige..

The site doesn't give much detail on what it does or it's requirements.. just a brief overview of it's key points. The manual is available for download. Might be a good idea to download it and have a shuftie.

Yes, Plan-G does need an internet connection to connect to the map server.

I remember one of my former colleagues from Servisair at LGW, an ex-Navy man too Dave, who one day informed all present in Load Control that MFI was an acronym for My Furniture's Incomplete. Lot of laughing that day, lot of laughing
