While hunting around my HD's for something, I stumbled over the FS9 AGN set for FSX along with a tool by you to insert them into FSX. Now.. I didn't have these in FS9. Is there a way to get them into FS9?
Yes indeed.. an all-in-one would have been the best way to go and there'd have been no issue. However, my current install uses the default setup. I say default.. VFRPhoto used to be 4 parts but I've a feeling this may have been crammed into 3 in the version that came with GenX.. the version I'm using now. Hang on, let me have a look..
OK, I need the full path (including drive letter) to the Photo Scenery for Fs2004 and the full path to where you have the agn files stored. I can then write a program to copy the agn files to the correct places in the texture foders.
OK mate.. I was just coming back to say go and get a bite to eat as it's showing 20mins for all the files to come out of a zip on the external to my F drive Will report back when I know what's going on inside the Autogen UK folder
For VFRPhoto..
C:\Program Files\Horizon Simulation\VFR Photo Scenery for FS2004\Volume1\VFR Photo Scenery\Scenery ...
For texture, substitute Scenery. Vols 2 and 3 are filed likewise.
Autogen is at..
F:\Autogen UK\Autogen folder for GenX
If this is too much of a pigs ear mate.. can I not manually make VFR a 'one shot' by lobbing everything into one folder having first deleted the entries from the FS9 cfg then adding the new locations manually? It would bugger up the uninstall but that's all.
I've just noticed another folder at C:\Program Files\Horizon Simulation\VFR Photo Scenery for FS2004\VFR Land Class\Scenery which contains 8 VFLC files.
