Search Avsim for fsx_modified_terrain_cfg.zip
I'll get your hovercraft.

Just wondered if there was a utility I can use to build fences?

Hi Nev
There must be as there are plenty of fences out there. PeterM surrounded his airfield in Alaska with the stuff
I know there's a fair bit knocking around in the various libraries I have which can be placed singly or in rows using ISv2.

Re: Instant Scenery V2
George..
I've just flown St Just to Crow Point and every unwanted artifact I had along the coast (and there were a few) have gone. However, I do see 3 water hills I didn't notice before and the area around Crow Point may have just a little more water there than it did have due to the nature of the terrain. Overall, the effect of the new cfg is very pleasing though. There's one more 'known' I have to check.. off Anglesey.
I also used to see very pale 'distance' water shading (a GenX artifact) which has also now been eliminated

Hi Dave,
I have uploaded the files to
I needed to changle the title of the "aircraft" to Ai_AP1_888 because I have a simobjects\boats version which uses Ai_AP1_88.
You can ring the changes with the flightplans and paths using AIFP and ADE.
Don't forget that using an AI aircraft as a boat means that the journey is one-way and that after reaching the hold-short node it will disappear after about 5 minutes and reappear at its parking spot.

That works fine George..

I have to move a couple of my statics to make way for the AI models but otherwise.. A-OK
I found the effect files for the 1-88 and have uploaded them HERE if you don't already have them

Re: Instant Scenery V2
One for George and everyone else I guess.
While checking the west coast of Devon and Cornwall yesterday having added that modified terrain.cfg, I found 2 or 3 small water hills close to the shore and the area around Crow Point seemed to have a little more water than previous but the nasty little rocky bits I'd seen around the coast that shouldn't be there had gone. Also, an area so scarred off Anglesey had also gone so a good result all round.
However, I've done the south coast from around Exmouth, east and have seen a number of these...

The modified cfg seems to be enhancing the one thing it's supposed to eliminate in certain circumstances
Here's the same area again, as near as I could get it, with the original cfg reinstated..

I'm afraid the jury is out on this one
