Unfortunately.. early Portsmouth and Devonport were very much learning curves as far as putting collections of scenery together are concerned. If you had the relevant UKVFR and ship files.. I could upload the scenery bgl for you but as it stands, I've no idea what the heck would show
By the time I'd done Southampton and added the last touches to Portsmouth.. my 'build' was more structured.. especially the end of Portsmouth where buildings and blocks of buildings were added to the area as individual blg's rather than simply added to the 'master' bgl. That way.. if things got too slow, I could easily remove a building bgl to ease things. In fact, it's only the last part of Portsmouth that was put together in this way as the buildings (or groups of) were large.. very large. Spice island at Portsmouth and 3 sets of dockyard buildings are amazingly complex and each group is a single model. Gad knows how the chap who built it in sketchup managed it
Sadly.. the level of interest in Portsmouth Dockyard by modellers has not been shown for Devonport. In fact I've found nothing at all for Devonport. Difficult to know why

A brief touch was done by Nick Ryall for FS2002 (SW England) which was great but the south of England has moved too much over 2 versions to accommodate it now. I tried using the Torpoint ferries from it which good old Nick made animated. I was unable to 'get into' them with MCX so had to try them native 2002 in FSX. They were slightly out of line with Torpoint (but not by much as it happens) but shot across the Tamar like speedboats and disappeared before they reached the shore.. only to reappear at some point for the return
I've got 'Arthur' to put at Goonhilly at some point and there are 'default' sat dishes which can be used for the remaining AE's. Think I'll make that my next little project

POI's.. landmarks is what I'm after really, not models of exceptional detail. Arthur looks detailed (another sketchup model) so I'll put him together this evening. As long as the other dishes are defaults (I'm pretty sure they are) I can make that a small file which can be added to your FSX

If there are any other landmarks you might like to see, let me know and I'll see if I can find them
