Dave, the grey cylinder in the FS Bucc is part of the clever* trickery to get the non-collimated HUD to work. It may help if you raise it as then you're looking down the inside of the tube so you won't notice it while it's untextured.
*When I say clever, I mean I'd never have thought of it and I'm still not 100% sure how it works!

Re: Early Morning Launch
bin the scotflight stuff, and install UKMIL Lossie,Leuchars and Kinloss

Skip: Rgr on that clever bit of trickery to make the HUD work. The bloody things get in the way so I never use em but I'll give it a go

I populated the freeware Kinloss with a couple of Hawks, a Tincan, a Grob, an SAR helo and 8 Nimrods this afternoon so it's a bit more appealing now. I went and had a quick look at Lossie and it looks like it's in a desert. Surely the real one doesn't look like that

Ker-bloop...
Skip.. good tip on the HUD. I can zip in and out with impunity now and no flask of coffee getting in my way
You lose a modicum of vis with it but not unacceptable
Gaffer.. Lossie looks great mate and matches my Kinloss (you've both used the same hangars.. good old Ted)
Plenty of action from the word go with the Tonkas but no sign of the AI helo. Looked everywhere for it too. It's in the Airplanes folder so I can only presume it's naffed off somewhere

Re: Early Morning Launch
odd, there should be 2 helo's. They just do circuits so if they are not there, they should arrive. Try parking next to the Sqn and changing the time in the sim, when it resets, they should be there

Re: Early Morning Launch
Hello Mate
The Helo is in Airplanes but there's no traffic file for it. I looked at the traffic file in the Lossie folder and it only lists the GR4's. Should there be a separate one for the helo's or should it be in the GR4 file?

Re: Early Morning Launch
DAve you are spot on, for some reason the traffic file is missing. I have fixed it, and uploading a new version now. Please try and re-download and install, and you should have Seakings

Re: Early Morning Launch
DC..
Where have you uploaded it to. I got my copy off Allnodes. Will have a look at the obvious place first.. UKMIL
EDIT: Got it

Love it to bits Gaffer
You have two distinctions now.. the first model to stop my pc dead AND.. the first working AI helicopter.
I know you've been running AI helo's for yonks but I never got a set that actually worked. Not tried for ages I admit but I'm more glad I got the Lossie package now
That doesn't read good England but you know what I mean
I love it
(I know.. simple things)
