Gorgeous Dave  I just wish I could fly the darned thing in FSX without it sapping every last ounce of juice out of the system :(

Very nice. I need a new PC this year, I think I may have to get a decent set up and see if I can't get FS back onto it and download this. I remember there were two payware models in development, which is this?

The (real) Dan Air one was probably flown by my uncle I suspect! He flew 146s for Dan Air in the late 80s/early 90s.

This one is (arguably) the best.. by Quality Wings. It's still only in RJ flavour at the mo.. the 146 is due 1st quarter of this year I believe :)

I've just uploaded these 2 paints:

Dan Air: http://daveg.cbfsim.org/files/QW_RJ100_DanAir_FSX.zip

Jaguar: http://daveg.cbfsim.org/files/QW_RJ100_ ... ar_FSX.zip

@DaveB, these are in 2048x2048 format, not the full-on 4096x4096, so you may get away with using these. ;)

IF I load up the RJ after the sim has started.. fly it then land.. I can just about get away with it with the textures pulled down a notch further. If I then move to another aircraft.. fly it and land then try the RJ again.. the gauges won't load.. RAM exhausted 8) Damn shame as it worked fine (although a heavy goer) in FS9 :(

I think the RAF grey paints were 2048 and even they gave me some stick. You can't pull every map down though.. I tried  The small one over the FD roof won't go any lower (I found out) without display problems :worried:

Have you tried using the lower resolution bump & spec maps? There's a 1024 set in the Avro Common folder. Most liveries alias the HD ones by default, so if you edit their texture.cfg to point to the lower res set that should save you a few Mb.

Thanks Dave.. that's certainly easier than digging them all out and resizing

EDIT: It's been a while Dave and I'd forgotten I'd already been there.. done that. I use the low res panel too. I only use ZE707 for the most part.. when I'm feeling lucky that is

Obviously hasn't got all the lumps and bumps though.

It's in the file library here if you want it.
