London City to Blackbush VFR

Post by DogTailRed2 »

Nice sunny day. Time to take mumsy down to Blackbush for some horse burgers and chips.
Maybe pop to the market for a cheap, frangible spanner set or maybe a wooden duck.

Cleared to back track taxi for straight out departure 28.

Some flap and max power to clear those towers. The residents of the Isle of Dogs would not be happy if I graze them.
Image

In the cruise. Time to get mumsy quiet on the duty frees. I just wish she didn't make me wear this suit all the time!
Image

Left hand circuit for Blackbush. A little high but easy in the STOL puppy. Can almost smell the bacon.
Image

Touch down. Wonder if mumsy is out of the toilet yet?

Safely parked and with the old dear fondling the bargains it's time for a cuppa in the cafe.

Lovely shots but they reminded me of just how badly lit the interior of the Aerosoft model is :|

Yes, I've got that model, too. There's a very bright glow when you're looking in from outside but the panel is a bit gloomy. Still, they're working on a new one aren't they? Hopefully it will be brought up to modern standards and I'll almost certainly buy it!

Nice shots of the trip to the market - I hope mumsy found some bargains!

Ian :)

Funny but I had never noticed the lighting problem :wall:
The Aerosoft aircraft while lacking in detail sound nice and fly very well.
Are they bringing out a new Twotter? Hmmm, might check that out!

BTW all mumsey bought was a pair of fluorescent socks, a small concrete gnome and a Cornish pastie!
