Just Flight Short Sale

Post by Airspeed »

I just bought 6 Just Flight Flying Club GA aircraft for US$33.
Haven't tried them yet. but sale ends this weekend.
Was tempted by the Flying Club set which included Denham Airport in detail, for $30, but decided 5 fixed wing and 1 heli might be better value. *-)

I was thinking of the Duchess and R44. I already have the 152. Do they look ok?

In fact, I've bought them anyway!

With my Just Flight Reward points, I've just got two aircraft for 53p. :welldone:

Don't mind if I do thanks!!

Paul

Hi Paul, :hello:
Just took the Warrior up from Moorabbin. It's the only aircraft I've ever held the controls of, except for a few moments in a Chipmunk when in the ATC.
Everything except the paint was fine (I will try to do an Aus scheme) then I discovered that I had the settings on EASY, from a session when I needed to use ORBX BOB to walk through fences to look at stuff.
Lokking forward to checking them all out. I got the Robinson Helicopter, Duchess, Warrior, Seneca, Tomahawk, and C152. :)

'scuse me, PaulC, :poke:
As you have some of the JF aircraft, you may be able to help me.
SHIFT E opens the main door. How do you open the baggage door, engine inspection covers etc?
SHIFT+E+1,2 etc put various panel sections on screen.
Just Flight said I should read the PDF manual. I've done that, and they say even this that and the oter open - but I can't see where they tell us how. :stupid:

Mike..

JF gave away the PA28 last Christmas which I had to download.. rude not to.. and if that has any outside panels, I've yet to find em. Anything that works with 'shift+' just passes me by.. I get what you get.. additional panel windows opening inside, NOT panels opening on the outside. This goes for all aicraft that use 'shift+' 8) I know others have the same trouble so it's not just you and me ;)

I'll have a go when I get home tonight. I have used Shift+E+2 etc before but there's a knack to the timings of the press!

I'll get back to you.

There's a knack alright and I don't have it! My success rate is about 1 in 10 and by the time I've opened what I want to see inside, I CBA to look  There used to be a handy 'door opener' gauge available at Allnodes which wasn't the be all and end all but it certainly allowed access to things I'd never seen before. All you have to do is find somewhere suitable to put it :)

Hi Mike & Paul

I don't know if this will help you but many years ago when i bought Alphasim's Seaking when it first came out i could not for the life of me open the large Starboard door, Shift +E opened the front Port door no trouble and i had a lot of to and froing with Alpha's Phil at the time over it but in the end what i did was play around with these numbers in the assignments page,

In F9 the Select Item 1/ 2/ 3/or 4 and i do remember i ended up using Shift+E+9 to make the doors open.

I don't know about FSX but i see the same Shift Item 1/2/3/or 4 in there so you could have a fiddle and see what you come up with.

Re-Reading this it looks confusing  saying 1234 and then using 9! just try putting in 9 where either 1234 are and see if anything works!!!

Now i'm confused :hide:

Hope this may help you.

Roger.

Don't know if this will be of any help, butI bought the JF Flying Club for FS9 ages ago but no longer use it.Anyway in the included manual it states:-
'Operating Doors And Hatches'
To open and close doors press SHIFT+E keys at the same time

To open and close the hatches press SHIFT+E keys at the same time. Then release them and immediately press the 2 key( on the keyboard not numpad). If you cannot make the doors operate, load a default aircraft then reload the Flying Club aircraft.

That's it word for word for what it's worth. :) EricT
Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!
